Rosita Bonita is the glamorous alter-ego of designer Rowenna Harrison, born in the balmy spring of 2010 after some fruitful screen-printing tests on leather. The resulting prints – delicate drawings of bounteous fruits, blooming blossom & feasting hummingbirds – once carefully cut out and collaged together – became the first Rosita Bonita collection, Orchard.
A life long love of drawing and making have equiped the designer with a unique visual language, teamed with an experimental and hands-on approach to materials and techniques, which have forged Rosita Bonita a distinct and alluring identity, charming customers, press & stockists ever since.

Each piece of Rosita Bonita printed leather jewellery is lovingly handcrafted in our studio, in the seaside town of Margate, England. Original illustrations are screen-printed or foil-embossed onto fine leathers & carefully assembled into unique & collectable treasures.
A creator, curator and mentor, Rubyyy Jones is an award winning performance powerhouse, arts activist and theatre innovator. Rubyyy is an electric actor and multi skilled talent who has performed in theatre, live art, cabaret and LGBTQIA+ stages and events all over the world and across the UK. Moonlighting in Burlesque, Rubyyy Jones is known as the “Queen of Queerlesque”, was entered into the Burlesque Hall of Fame as “Most Innovative 2017” and is one of the pioneers of the Queerlesque movement.
Rubyyy Jones has Qids all over the world and is the creator and main mentor of a ground breaking Queerlesque course, and has taught performance across London: Soho Theatre, Royal Court Theatre and has worked as a director, choreographer across the UK: Barbican Theatre, Arcola Theatre, Pleasance Theatre and more.

Claire draws her inspiration from everywhere. Music, films, books & artwork. Having travelled the world as an ice skater and worked in some of the biggest clubs as a dancer and DJ, she loves to lose herself in creating illusions from behind the cameras nowadays. The ultimate act of smoke & mirrors.The three biggest passions in her life are her husband, her daughter and her photography. Alongside working with some of the world’s most in demand alternative models, it is Claire’s work with real women that really sets her apart from her contemporaries.
